Reid Marchand

Reid is Down Beat Media’s lead producer and B cam cinematographer, who on the odd chance will direct as well. Reid likes to consider himself ‘Mr. Make-It-Happen’ when it comes to the pre-production process, ensuring everything has been thought of beforehand and bringing the shoot together with ease. His film situational awareness makes him an integral part of the Down Beat team, stopping at nothing to ensure the ideal outcome for his clients. Reid also has experience working in Post Production where he worked as an Assistant Editor for the Crave original series ‘ The Trades’ directed by Warren P. Sonoda. Here, Reid used his prior skills in Computer Science that he learned studying at Dalhousie University and the Screen Arts Program at NSCC.
