Cempoal Cafe is a song written about the cafe on Agricola Street in Halifax. Noel Morgan used to live right by this cafe and wanted to give it the justice it deserves as one of the chillest places in the city.

We filmed this music video over the span of 3 days, one of which with backing Vocalist Jess Crowe, was the actually recorded vocals on the track.

Another visit we came bright and early in the morning with lead guitarist Max Cole, who can be seen ripping his guitar solo on the couches.

Finally, we made one last visit to highlight the owner of the cafe Chris Cookson, who is a huge fan of filmmaking and in the words of Noel, “the coolest cat there is!”
